The goddess Isis is associated with wisdom and the magic of books. She, along with her elder teacher, Lord Thoth, is credited with the creation of hieroglyphics. In ancient Egypt, she is called Aset. She has gone by many names and played many roles in history and mythology - as Goddess and Female Creator. Over time, Isis had absorbed the attributes of all the great primitive Goddesses.

Isis is known for having power and influence in Egyptian society by being the creator of vocal language. It is said that if the goddess spoke in a certain rate, tone, and deliverance, none could resist her command. She gave the written words of Thoth vocalization and is thus known as the goddess of magic and healing.

She is the embodiment of the divine feminine and will call you to exploration of inner mysteries and a deeper understanding of self.
