Quan Yin, also known as Guanyin or Kuan Yin, is a revered deity in Chinese and East Asian Buddhism. She is often depicted as a compassionate and merciful bodhisattva, embodying the ideal of universal compassion. Quan Yin is regarded as the "Goddess of Mercy," representing unconditional love and the alleviation of suffering. Quan Yin is considered a guardian and protector, offering solace, guidance, and spiritual support to all who call upon her. Her compassionate nature extends to all living beings, and she is particularly associated with the alleviation of human suffering.
